MODERATION

So many people just donít know how to practice moderation.
They force their bodies to over-exercise.
They overeat or go on crazy diets, instead of choosing a balanced form of eating.
They go to a party and overeat  or drink to much and suffer badly the next day.
Man should not mortify the flesh for that would only harm the body
And the body is the temple of your soul.

Yoga practice offers this verse from its teachings.

Eat a little, drink a little,
Speak a little, sleep a little,
Mix a little, move a little
Serve a little, think a little,
Give a little, work a little,
Rest a little, worship a little,
Exercise a little, breathe a little
Meditate a little,  reflect a little.

In other words practice Moderation.
