SILENCE/NOISE

If you put this into the context of Words, have you noticed there are some people who never stop talking and say nothing, and then there are others who hardly ever speak, but when they do there words a so profound.  Words can make such beauty, give such comfort or they can cause so much pain.  We should learn when to speak and when to be silent.

Alexander Pope said Be silent always when you doubt your sense.

Words can be a jungle or words can be a garden of delight.  Words can be wild weeds that ravage the soil and rob it of its nutrients, or they can yield an abundance of beauty, comfort, consolation and hope.  Words sloppily selected and thoughtlessly spoken will be a source of grief and contention.  Words well pruned and carefully chosen can be a balm to the oppressed and depressed.
